It follows the cannon of the series all the way EoT and beyond. I will give you a hint Donna and Shaun are divorced and there is a reason why but I am not going to give it away. Yes there will be some Timey Whimey stuff in it but I think it will be easy to follow (Unlike the Time Travelers Wife). I think I have given enough spoilers away. I will be updated again soon.
