30 Day Nu-Who Meme Day 21: Favorite Location

As I was meandering my way through the many different locations of Doctor Who I was surprised of all the places that Doctor Who has filmed.  They have been all over the world, in so many places that it just astonishes my mind.  I have been to many different places in my lifetime but I think the Doctor Who production team has been to many more than I.  Needless to say it was very difficult to pick what was my favorite location until I came to "The Pandorica Opens"  and there was my answer right in front of my face.....Stonehenge. 

Why Stonehenge, I think my love for it can be traced all the way back when I was just a kiddo and my grandparents showed me slides (Yes I said slides) of their visit.  I remember seeing those images and thinking how grand of a place Stonhenge was, but I also remember thinking how mysterious the place was and what secrets those old rocks knew.  As I have gotten older I find that Stonehenge still inspires wonder in me, the beauty and majesty of those old stones just makes my heart thump for history and my mind craving to understand the unknown.   So my favorite location is Stonehenge.

The top two pics were taken as shots for the DW series the last two I found on google images. You should take a look at all the pics of stonehenge that are there, many of them are so beautiful.
