Over the last couple of years we have seen story arcs come and go.  We met the Bad Wolf, Torchwood, Harold Saxon, The DoctorDonna, The cracks in the universe. 

But there is one story arc that I think will never be resolved (except in our fanfictions),  It is an Arc that has been present since Doctor Who graced our television again March 26th 2005 with "Rose" .

It is the arc that makes us weep, for we will forever have "The Lonely God".  The Doctor's companions come and go and while they are with him he loves each of them in his own special way, but the truth of the matter is.  The Doctor is the last of his kind and as those he knows become stardust within the universe he will always remain the "The Lonely God"
