30 Days Nu-Who Meme Day 16: Fave Martha Moment

Doctor Martha Jones the companion that was the most underappriciated during her time with the Doctor.  When her tenure ended I felt very disappointed that they didn't do more with her.  So when she was brought back for the The Sontaran Stratagem during the fourth season I couldn't wait to see what would happen with her.  I wasn't dissapointed she was very different then when she traveled with the Doctor.  She actually stood up against the Doctor and called him out on how he treated the UNIT commander and how her time with him caused her to be the military/civilian women she was currently.  Her interactions with Donna were wonderful and the fact that she had moved on from the unrequited love she had with the Doctor made me cheer for her.  I also think that the Doctor in this episode is not sure what to think of this new Martha Jones and has a hard time adjusting to her new independence.  So once again the Doctor just doesn't seem to understand Dr Martha Jones.  That's okay at least Jack does.  So my fave Martha Moment isn't really a moment but the episode Sontaran Strategem

Me too it makes for interesting TV but you know what I think is interesting how Donna and Martha were truly ladies.
And Rose and Sara Jane met it was almost a catfight.

I agree about this being a great Martha moment - it was wonderful to see her become her own person.

I must agree completely with your opinions of Martha. She seemed to be a rebound Companion, it was nice in Season 4, to see she had grown out of that a lot and become a fiery and independent individual.
