Hey there I am back of course the wedding was wonderful and the bride and groom looked very happy to finally be able to tie the knot. I will be posting pics a bit later of my beautiful daughter and the happy new couple. My feet ache from all the dancing and I found a great hair care product that is called tease in a bottle by big sexy hair, I so need to buy some right away. I was able to have a teased look without all the back combing that takes place.
My nerves are pretty much shot from traveling today. Our plane was delayed for quite some time and trying to keep a 4 year old busy and hear my 11 year old complain she is bored just rubbed my already raw nerves wrong, but I made it, and now I am at home and after a couple glasses wine I think my nerves are starting to settle just a bit.
I am glad things are finally going to settle down in my life, Jackelyn is done with science olympia and dance so afterschool activities have finally come to an end. Now we only have a couple more weeks of school and then the summer officially begins. Time to let the kids go play till the sun sets, have fires in our back yard pit, camping, boating, I really enjoy the summer and I am glad it is almost here.
Anyhoo, I breifly looked over all the postings since Wednesday and I must say you guys have been very busy. Can you please put links down below in the comments section to your wonderful stories so I can read them during the week. Of course if there is any other delectible yumminess that you think I would like please link that as well.
I am glad to be back at least for a bit before I go boating for memorial day and camping June 15th, Yeah summer.

Date: 2011-05-23 02:52 am (UTC)Sigh. I miss those days as a kid. My father would take me and my sister out camping all of the time and we always had so much fun. Even when he was unemployed he always made sure we had what we needed. And, if we didn't go camping, I'd read the Boy Scout Handbook and make fires from scratch in our backyard. Yeah, I'm still a huge tomboy too. :)
Sorry the plane trip was so hard (I can't imagine how traveling with kids must be like, you must have one brave soul) but at least you had a wonderful time at the wedding.
As for posts I haven't really done much of anything. Well, I got better, that's news. :)
Missed you lots and glad you're back. Reading for some writing? We've got a challenge due this Wednesday (do you still need an HTML crash course? I totally forgot about that) and I owe you a drabble. I think I can do it for tomorrow. How's about that?
*hugs* Thanks for everything, again, and summer certainly can't come soon enough!

Date: 2011-05-23 10:59 am (UTC)And I think you should give me a lot more patience than you have been giving me because I'm writing a rather long fic for a pairing I don't see. I think that gives me some major kudos. But do I get any respect? Noooo.....
Whatever.
(You have been mostly patient but I don't see you writing this fic yourself, hmm?)

Date: 2011-05-23 12:24 pm (UTC)Did I say I'm dissing you? *hovers finger over another button* Nope, can't see it. Yes, you get kudos, especially as I have to shut my eyes most of the time whenever I read your fandom (if that makes any sense, and I'm sure it doesn't!).
(I have been very patient I think...until I get the irresistible urge to tease you about it. I dunno, can I see myself writing this fic myself? Especially as you've been all secret squirrel about it I hasten to add, so I don't know the plot/prompt. I sometimes write my own fic to amuse myself and keep you busy on a Wednesday if you're wondering what I've been up to...)

Date: 2011-05-23 12:36 pm (UTC)What's that other button? *looks* I'm not sure I trust you.
What about my fandom? Usually I'm being annoyed at Moffat's Who writing and my new love of Five. I think I mentioned Rose once or twice in the last few weeks, and not even in a fewer shipper way, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. I was also complaining about the TARDIS being a sexual being after "The Doctor's Wife." I'm starting to think you're ignoring anything that says "Doctor Who" or "Rose" in my post, which kinda makes me sad. :(
(Yes, I am very protective of my fics and, honestly, I've had a few rough months and the muse has been rather picky about when she decides to grace me with her presence. It's all in my head; it just needs to be written. You can't rush art!)

Date: 2011-05-23 12:50 pm (UTC)I admit I didn't read your post about "The Doctor's Wife"; purely because I hadn't seen the episode at that point [the universe is contriving to stop me watching this series on time it would seem]. I shall flick through and find it now...
(Sorry love; I know it's been rough. How true! Art has it's own timetable.)

Date: 2011-05-23 12:17 pm (UTC)Oh yeah summer is a wonderful time of year for me and my family we always have such a good time. My daughter always tells me that it is her favorite time of year because of all the family stuff we do.
I have traveled so much with my kiddos so you would think I would be less frazzeled but I think it is all the hurry up and waiting that is hardest part. It is tough flying now a days with all the security stuff.
thanks for the hugs

Date: 2011-05-23 01:27 pm (UTC)I'm glad you got your fic in. I typically wait until the very last minute, which is really not a good idea, but I have too many fandom obligations going on, not to mention rl, that these challenges get put on the back-burner too often. It's sad really. I must be insane to be doing so much with so little time.
Heh, hurry up and wait. Love that expression. Love oxymorons in general actually.
You're always welcome to hugs! *another hug for good measure*

Date: 2011-05-23 01:36 pm (UTC)Well when the prompt was given I knew exactly what I wanted to write I am not sure if it will happen everytime but I am hopeful it will. I am only writing for one LAS so I think it makes it a bit more easier.

Date: 2011-05-23 01:42 pm (UTC)I've written most of the whoverse prompt but it needs some revisions. As for Doctor/Rose...I have an idea but it needs to be written. So much to do...so much to do....and I"m at work. Bugger it all.
